TLDR COVID-19 infection may cause hair loss a few months after recovery.
The document presents a case of Telogen Effluvium (TE), a condition characterized by widespread hair loss, occurring approximately 3-4 months after a stressor, in this case, a COVID-19 infection. The patient reported hair loss three months after recovering from COVID-19. This adds to the growing list of post-COVID-19 symptoms, indicating that hair loss can occur not only as a clinical symptom of many diseases but also after the disease has passed.
