    The study developed a novel injectable hydrogel, PTKH, functionalized with tannic acid and silicate, for treating infected diabetic wounds. PTKH demonstrated significant antibacterial activity, reducing E.coli and S.aureus colonies by up to 95.3% and 98%, respectively, and exhibited strong antioxidant properties. In animal studies, PTKH promoted angiogenesis, epithelization, and reduced inflammation, accelerating wound healing in diabetic mice. The hydrogel's mechanical and swelling properties were enhanced by tannic acid and silicate-induced crosslinking, making it a promising treatment for chronic diabetic wounds by reducing infection and promoting tissue regeneration.
