TLDR The supplement improved hair, skin, and nails appearance and had long-term benefits.
The document reports on two double-blinded clinical studies that evaluated the effectiveness of a nutritional supplement containing peptides, lipids, hyaluronic acid, and collagen in improving the appearance of hair, skin, and nails. Participants took a 20-gram oral dose of the supplement daily. Results indicated statistically significant improvements in nail cracking, brittleness, hair dullness, hair dryness, and nail softness after 8 weeks, as well as a decrease in skin dryness. A 60-week crossover study demonstrated long-term benefits up to 52 weeks, with a significant decline in benefits after the supplement was withdrawn. Particularly, 95% of subjects with severe symptoms experienced significant improvement in hair dryness and dullness, 85% in nail splitting and peeling, and 65% in nail hardness. The authors suggest that this supplement is an effective component of comprehensive care for hair, nails, and skin.
