It is notable for its sprayability, tissue adhesiveness, and biological performance, making it suitable for emergency wound management. The hydrogel can be sterilized by boiling and retains its properties after storage. It shows antibacterial activity against E. coli and S. aureus, enhances fibroblast proliferation and migration, supports angiogenesis, and reduces inflammation. In a diabetic mouse model, it accelerated wound closure and improved tissue repair quality, including epidermal regeneration and nascent hair follicle formation.
