Simplified Lateral Brow Lift Under Local Anesthesia for Correction of Lateral Hooding

The study titled "Simplified Lateral Brow Lift under Local Anesthesia for Correction of Lateral Hooding" reviewed 150 patients who underwent a simplified lateral brow lift combined with upper blepharoplasty. The technique, performed in an office setting with light sedation, involved minimal incisions and was effective in correcting lateral brow hooding with a 7% revision rate and 3% incidence of delayed wound healing. No permanent nerve injuries were reported, and complications were minor and temporary. The procedure provided natural-appearing rejuvenation of the upper face, demonstrating its safety, efficacy, and high patient acceptance. The study concluded that this simplified approach could be a valuable addition to cosmetic surgical techniques, emphasizing the benefits of combining it with upper blepharoplasty for comprehensive upper face rejuvenation.
