TLDR Serum IMA levels may be linked to premature hair graying and erectile dysfunction.
The study investigates the relationship between serum ischemia-modified albumin (IMA) levels and erectile dysfunction (ED) in individuals with premature hair graying (PGH). The findings suggest that serum IMA may play a role in the onset of premature hair graying and could serve as an independent marker for its severity. Additionally, there were significant differences in ED between those with and without PGH, indicating a potential link between vasculogenic ED and IMA levels. The study also notes that ED may be more prevalent in individuals with polycystic ovary syndrome (PGH).
