TLDR Glycosaminoglycans, found in things like hyaluronic acid, help maintain skin health and stimulate hair growth, and are safe to use topically.
Glycosaminoglycans, complex linear polysaccharides with a hydrophilic effect and water-binding ability, are used in cosmetic preparations in the form of hyaluronic acid, sodium hyaluronate, and potassium hyaluronate. They are considered safe for topical application, maintaining skin health, supporting cell renewal, and increasing skin's resistance to harmful external factors. In trichology, glycosaminoglycans have shown satisfactory results, stimulating hair growth, reducing excessive scalp flaking and seborrhea, and aiding in the treatment of androgenetic alopecia.

community DLQ01: A Better "Minoxidil" PGF2a synthetic analogue.

DLQ01, a prostaglandin F2α analog, shows promise for hair growth by directly stimulating PGE2/PGF receptors without needing conversion, and can be combined with minoxidil and retinoids like tretinoin for enhanced effectiveness. Minoxidil's efficacy may be reduced by COX-1 inhibitors, but using prostaglandin analogs like Latanoprost or Bimatoprost can help maintain its effectiveness.

Minoxidil sulfate is more effective than regular minoxidil, especially for those with low sulfotransferase levels or scalp sensitivity, but it is unstable unless delivered in a liposomal format. Combining minoxidil with tretinoin can enhance effectiveness, and stopping minoxidil use can lead to rapid hair loss.
