TLDR Combining robotic and specialized tools improves hair transplant results.
The study involving 20 patients with androgenetic alopecia highlights the benefits of combining robotic-assisted and specialized tool-assisted techniques for hair transplantation. Robotic-assisted FUE, approved for men with dark, straight hair, is ideal for the flatter front two-thirds of the scalp, while the specialized tool is suitable for the vertex with a whorled hair pattern and can be used for both men and women with various hair types. This synergistic approach is particularly advantageous for patients undergoing multiple hair transplants, emphasizing the importance of understanding the specific indications for each technique to achieve optimal and lasting results.
