Management of Pyoderma Associated with Demodicosis in a Dog: A Case Report

    A one-year-old male dog with demodicosis, a parasitic skin disease caused by Demodex canis, presented with symptoms including pruritis, alopecia, erythema, and pustules. Diagnosis was confirmed through an impression smear showing Staphylococcus bacteria and a deep skin scraping revealing Demodex canis. The condition was successfully managed with a treatment regimen of ivermectin, amitraz, cephalexin, and vitamin supplements with liver extract.
