TLDR Avoiding certain fragrances improved the man's skin condition.
An 80-year-old man with a history of foot dermatitis developed pustular allergic contact dermatitis (ACD) due to various allergens, including fragrances. Patch testing and histological analysis confirmed the diagnosis. His condition improved after avoiding the identified allergens. This case underscored the need to distinguish pustular ACD from other similar conditions like pustular psoriasis and AGEP.
