TLDR Combining PRP with Procapil is more effective for hair loss treatment than PRP alone.
This clinical trial compared the effectiveness of platelet-rich plasma (PRP) therapy alone versus PRP combined with daily topical 5% Procapil application in treating androgenetic alopecia (AGA). Conducted at Tehsil Headquarters Hospital Takhtbhai Mardan, the study involved 160 patients divided into two groups of 80 each. Group A received 4 sessions of PRP alone, while Group B received PRP with Procapil. After 6 months, Group B showed significantly better results in both dermatologist evaluations and patient satisfaction scores (p-value <0.05), indicating that the combination of PRP and Procapil is more effective than PRP alone for AGA treatment.
