TLDR Combining PRP with follicular transplantation improves vitiligo treatment better than follicular transplantation alone.

The study compared the effectiveness of platelet-rich plasma (PRP) combined with follicular transplantation versus follicular transplantation alone in treating refractory vitiligo. The results indicated that the combination of PRP and follicular transplantation showed a significant improvement in repigmentation compared to follicular transplantation alone. This suggests that PRP may enhance the outcomes of follicular transplantation in patients with refractory vitiligo.
