Research of Protein Grafting and Cross-Linking Technology on Pilling Resistance of Rabbit Hair Fabric

    LI Ming-han
TLDR Milk protein treatment reduces pilling in rabbit hair fabric.
The study investigated the use of milk protein grafting and cross-linking technology to address the fuzzing and pilling issues in rabbit hair knitted fabric. By observing the fabric's surface with SEM and testing its pilling resistance through circular locus and hair bulb counting methods, it was found that the treatment made the fiber's surface rougher. This roughness, resulting from significant protein grafting, effectively improved the fabric's pilling resistance.

Whey protein does not cause hair loss; concerns are likely unfounded. The user is on finasteride and minoxidil but sees no improvement, so they are phasing out these treatments while continuing to work out and use whey protein.
