TLDR The specialized protective cap improved recovery and satisfaction after hair transplant.
The study investigated the use of a specialized protective cap for patients with alopecia after autologous hair transplantation. Conducted on 81 patients, the study found that those wearing the protective cap experienced significantly less postoperative hemorrhage and scalp swelling compared to those with conventional dressing. Additionally, the protective cap group had a higher survival rate of transplanted hair follicles and greater patient satisfaction. The results suggested that the specialized cap effectively improved postoperative outcomes and patient satisfaction.
