    TLDR Low vitamin D3 and ferritin levels may cause hair loss in pregnant women.
    The study investigated the relationship between hair loss in pregnant women and their serum levels of vitamin D3 and ferritin. Conducted at Tikrit Hospital, the study included 50 pregnant women experiencing hair loss in the first and second trimesters and a control group of 30 pregnant women without hair loss. Results showed that women with hair loss had significantly lower levels of vitamin D3 and ferritin compared to those without hair loss, suggesting a potential link between these deficiencies and hair loss during pregnancy.
