TLDR Finasteride 1mg linked to diverse symptoms; other treatments improve erectile function in rats.
This document contains summaries of several studies. One study found that injecting mesenchymal stem cells (MTs) improved erectile function and histopathological changes in diabetic rats more than traditional adipose-derived stem cells (ADSCs). Another study found that magnetizing ADSCs with nanoparticles improved erectile function in rats. A third study analyzed adverse event reports related to 5-alpha reductase inhibitor (5ARI) use and found that finasteride was associated with a diverse collection of symptoms, particularly in the 1mg dosage. Dutasteride was not implicated for post-finasteride syndrome (PFS). Finally, a study found that stromal derived factor-1 (SDF1) treatment augmented nerve regeneration via CXCR4 activation of neurotrophic factors in the major pelvic ganglion in a dose-dependent fashion.
