A 29-year-old woman with chronic telogen effluvium experienced significant hair regrowth and improvement in hair loss symptoms after undergoing 12 sessions of plum blossom acupuncture combined with electroacupuncture. The treatment led to the growth of fine hairs and improved results in the hair-pull test, trichoscopy, and trichogram, with the percentage of telogen phase hair decreasing to 15.6%. Additionally, there was a reduction in the Dermatology Life Quality Index (DLQI) and Perceived Stress Scale (PSS-10) scores, indicating an overall improvement in her condition and quality of life.
