Platelet Preparations for Use in Facial Rejuvenation and Wound Healing: A Critical Review of Current Literature

Some studies specifically highlight the potential of PRP in treating androgenetic alopecia by increasing hair density and count. Despite the favorable outcomes, the review points out the possibility of publication bias and the need for more robust randomized controlled trials with objective measures to fully ascertain the efficacy of platelet preparations in medical applications, including their role in hair loss treatment.
