It presented with thick, greasy scales on the vertex, potentially leading to nonscarring alopecia. PA was associated with various conditions like psoriasis, atopic dermatitis, and alopecia areata, though these relationships were uncertain. Diagnostic tests typically showed negative findings. The report detailed 10 cases to increase awareness among physicians about this condition.
