    Nyctanthes arbor-tristis, a large shrub from the Oleaceae family, contains a variety of phytochemicals such as D-mannitol, β sitosterol, flavanol glycosides, and oleanolic acid. Traditionally, it has been used to treat conditions like inflammation, dyspepsia, flatulence, colic, ophthalmopathy, splenomegaly, greyness of hair, and baldness. The review highlights its pharmacological properties, including anti-diabetic, anti-malarial, antioxidant, anticancer, anti-inflammatory, analgesic, antiparasitic, and anti-aggressive activities, making it a valuable plant for managing various ailments.
