TLDR The study found a unique vein pattern around the aorta and two arteries in the right kidney.
The case report described a unique anatomical finding in a 72-year-old male patient who died in a road accident, focusing on a periaortic venous necklace and double renal arteries on the right kidney. The periaortic venous necklace, a venous branch forming a ring around the aorta, was documented with specific measurements. The right kidney had two renal arteries with a 5.1 cm interval. This rare anatomical variation, discovered accidentally during an angiographic examination, could compress the aorta if tightened, potentially leading to an adrenal aortic aneurysm. It poses a risk during retroperitoneal surgery due to the potential for fatal hemorrhage if unrecognized, emphasizing the importance of understanding such variations for surgical planning and implications in angiogenesis and tumor development.
