TLDR Personalized homeopathy medicine, along with lifestyle changes, can effectively treat Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome.
An 18-year-old female patient with Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS) was treated with individualized homeopathy (iHOM) medicine for a year, from September 26, 2019, to November 26, 2020. The treatment outcomes were assessed during follow-up visits, and the changes were evaluated using the modified Naranjo criteria to determine if they were due to the homeopathic medicine. The study found that the iHOM medicine yielded beneficial results over the observational period. The conclusion of the study suggests that considering the multifactorial etiology of PCOS, iHOM medicine combined with lifestyle modification can be effective in treating PCOS.

Scalp biopsies are crucial for diagnosing hair loss conditions like Diffuse Unpatterned Alopecia (DUPA) and retrograde hair loss, as treatments like finasteride and dutasteride may not be effective if other conditions are present. Combining PPAR-GAMMA agonists with retinoids could improve treatments for conditions like Lichen Planopilaris.
