TLDR Nano-liposome-bound EGF can delay hair growth in rats.
The study investigated methods to postpone hair growth using 26 SD rats. It found that the local application of nano-liposome-bound EGF at a concentration of 333.3 μg/ml successfully postponed murine hair growth, whereas a lower concentration (166.7 μg/ml) and the free form of EGF did not have the same effect. The conclusion was that nano-liposome-bound EGF could effectively delay hair follicle growth.
