TLDR A 30-year-old man with rare skin conditions improved with antibiotics and surgery, hinting at a link to rosacea.
A 30-year-old man presented with concurrent Morbihan disease and extrafacial lupus miliaris disseminatus faciei (LMDF), showing nonpruritic, painless papular eruptions on the trunk and upper extremities, and bilateral eyelid edema. Histologic examinations confirmed Morbihan disease in the eyelids and LMDF in the truncal lesions. Roxithromycin improved the truncal eruptions, while surgery was required for the eyelid edema. This case underscored the diagnostic and treatment challenges of these rare conditions and suggested a potential link to rosacea.
