TLDR A 30-year-old man with rare skin conditions improved with antibiotics and surgery, hinting at a link to rosacea.
This case report described a unique instance of a 30-year-old man with concurrent Morbihan disease and extrafacial lupus miliaris disseminatus faciei (LMDF). The patient exhibited nonpruritic, painless papular eruptions on the trunk and upper extremities, along with bilateral eyelid edema. Histological examinations confirmed Morbihan disease in the eyelids and LMDF in the truncal lesions. Treatment with roxithromycin improved the truncal eruptions, while surgical intervention was necessary for the eyelid edema. This case highlighted the diagnostic challenges and treatment complexities of these rare conditions, suggesting a potential link to rosacea.
