    TLDR A three-year-old girl has hair loss despite treatment with selenium sulfide shampoo and anti-fungal medication.
    A three-year-old girl with a two-year history of hair loss was referred to a dermatology clinic. She was otherwise healthy, with no family history of similar alopecia. Prior to the consultation, she had been treated with a 2.5% selenium sulfide shampoo, a topical anti-fungal treatment.
