TLDR Mesenchymal stem cells may effectively treat and prevent allergic skin conditions.
This review discussed the potential of mesenchymal stem/stromal cells (MSCs) as a therapeutic approach for allergic diseases, specifically atopic dermatitis and chronic urticaria. It examined the immunological roles of MSCs in the context of disease immunopathogenesis. The findings suggested that MSCs could serve as a promising treatment option, offering not only symptomatic relief but also addressing the underlying causes and potentially preventing allergic diseases.
