    This study explores a non-androgen pathway for treating androgenetic alopecia (AGA) by focusing on the PIEZO1 mechanosensation and myosin-light-chain kinase (MLCK) axis, which contributes to follicular miniaturization. The research screened a library of 2,529 natural compounds using advanced computational methods to identify candidates that could potentially target the PIEZO1 and MLCK sites effectively. The findings suggest several candidate compounds with promising topical bioavailability, but these results are purely in silico and require further in vitro validation.
