    The study introduces IVL-DrugFluidic®, a novel microfluidic platform for mass-producing finasteride-loaded polymeric microspheres for long-acting injectables (LAIs). This technology optimizes microchannel flow and solvent removal, achieving uniform, defect-free microspheres with nearly 100% encapsulation efficiency. Clinical trials with healthy adult volunteers confirmed stable, month-long drug release without initial burst, demonstrating consistent finasteride plasma levels and dose-proportional increases in exposure. The platform shows significant potential for scalable, high-quality LAI production, enhancing patient compliance and reducing side effects.
