Biao Song, Xiaohan Liu, Hongzhong Jin
TLDR Ixekizumab effectively treated severe psoriasis and hair loss in a patient.
This case report discusses a patient with severe erythrodermic psoriasis (EP) and diffuse alopecia, conditions that significantly affect quality of life. The patient did not respond to conventional treatments but showed complete resolution of both psoriatic skin lesions and alopecia after being treated with ixekizumab for 52 weeks. This suggests that ixekizumab may be an effective treatment option for patients with refractory EP and associated alopecia.
