    The Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) has developed 13 standard treatment workflows (STWs) for skin diseases to improve management across primary, secondary, and tertiary care centers in India. This initiative addresses the challenge of a low number of dermatologists and their uneven distribution between urban and rural areas. The STWs cover conditions such as acne, alopecia, bacterial infections, and more, and include a module on the rational use of topical corticosteroids. These workflows are available as physical posters, online, and through mobile applications, aiming to enhance the treatment of skin diseases nationwide.
