July 2025 in “Clinical Endocrinology” This study of Indian women aged 18-40 observed that oligo-anovulation and clinical hyperandrogenism were prevalent, found in 21.5% and 21% of participants respectively, with biochemical hyperandrogenism and subclinical hypothyroidism also noted as common endocrine dysfunctions.
