TLDR HPV 60 may cause cysts and warts on the face, not just hands and feet.
The document described two cases where patients presented with facial warts that were associated with underlying epidermal cysts, both testing positive for HPV 60. A 74-year-old Korean man had a recurring nodule near his mouth, and a 51-year-old man had a papule on his nose. Histopathological and molecular analyses confirmed HPV 60 in both the cyst and wart. These findings suggest that HPV 60 might be involved in the development of nonpalmoplantar epidermal cysts, expanding the known impact of the virus beyond the palms and soles.
