    The study formulated a shampoo using Hibiscus rosa-sinensis Linn., known for its hair growth-promoting, anti-greying, antimicrobial, and antifungal properties. Conducted at ST. WILFRED'S INSTITUTE OF PHARMACY, the research included identification, quantitative analysis, extraction, and evaluation. The alcoholic extracts demonstrated antimicrobial and antifungal activity. The shampoo passed all standard evaluation tests, including organoleptic properties, pH, foam production, and cleansing action. The final product exhibited ideal shampoo characteristics and was free from harmful preservatives like paraben, making it a safer alternative to synthetic shampoos.
