The study developed a herbal anti-dandruff shampoo using medicinal plant extracts like neem, aloe vera, tulsi, and hibiscus, known for their antifungal and soothing properties. The shampoo was evaluated for various physicochemical parameters and demonstrated good foaming ability, efficient cleansing, and a pH suitable for the scalp. It showed no irritation and remained stable over time. The bioactive components contributed to antifungal activity and scalp nourishment, indicating its potential effectiveness in controlling dandruff. The shampoo is a safe and promising natural alternative to synthetic options, with further clinical studies recommended for long-term efficacy.
