TLDR Tridax procumbens and ginger juice together protect the liver from paracetamol damage.
The study evaluated the hepatoprotective effects of a combination of tridax procumbens and ginger juice against paracetamol-induced liver damage in 30 albino Wistar rats, divided into 6 groups. The combination treatment showed significant antioxidant activity and effectively reduced liver damage compared to the control groups. The results suggest that the amalgamation of tridax procumbens and ginger juice has potent hepatoprotective properties, offering a promising approach to mitigate paracetamol-induced hepatotoxicity.
