The review emphasizes the importance of prompt diagnosis and treatment, which involves the complete removal of the constricting agent, to preserve the affected appendage. The article aims to increase awareness among healthcare professionals about this surgical emergency to ensure early prevention, accurate diagnosis, and timely treatment.
