This study developed and evaluated a polyherbal solid shampoo bar using natural ingredients like Amla, Soapnut, Hibiscus, and Aloe vera, and found it to be an effective, safe, and sustainable alternative to conventional hair care products, with good cleansing and lathering properties.

This study formulated and evaluated a Moringa oleifera-based shampoo bar, finding it has a safe pH, does not cause irritation, and is favored by 64% of respondents, with potential hair loss reduction benefits and environmental advantages over liquid shampoos.

This study found that transparent shampoo bars containing high concentrations of aloe vera gel, castor oil, and cinnamon oil exhibited antimicrobial activity, reduced hair loss, and caused no skin irritation.

This study highlights the potential benefits of herbal soaps and shampoo bars as eco-friendly alternatives to conventional cosmetics, noting their antibacterial, antifungal, and antioxidant properties as well as sustainability advantages such as reduced plastic use and avoidance of synthetic chemicals.
