TLDR The trichometer accurately measures hair growth and is easy to use.

The study introduced a simple, portable, and inexpensive trichometer designed for accurately measuring hair length with a sensitivity of 0.2 mm. It demonstrated high reproducibility, with a mean coefficient of variation of 5.9%, regardless of whether the same or different observers used it. The trichometer was effectively used to objectively assess the rate of hair growth in hirsute females.
