Formulation and Evaluation of Fermented Wheat Gluten Herbal Shampoo

TLDR The shampoo made with fermented wheat gluten and herbs was good for cleaning, conditioning, and promoting hair growth.
The study aimed to create a herbal shampoo (HS) to reduce hair fall and promote hair growth by using natural herbal components, specifically fermented wheat gluten. The main ingredient, fermented wheat grain flour, is rich in gluten, which is believed to nourish and strengthen hair. The HS also included traditional herbs like Aloe vera, Hibiscus-rosa-sinensis, Trigonella foenum-graecum, and Phyllanthus. The formulated shampoo was evaluated for its cleansing, detergency, conditioning, and foaming abilities, as well as its capacity to disperse dirt. Statistical software was utilized to refine the formula and analyze the main and interaction effects on the shampoo's properties.
