This study aimed to develop an exfoliating dermocosmetic formulation using babassu fibers to aid in the treatment of androgenetic alopecia. The formulation, an oil-in-water emulsion with specific surfactants and emulsifiers, was tested for various parameters and showed instability under direct sunlight and heat. This suggests that the product should be stored in a refrigerator or at room temperature (<25°C) to maintain stability. Future studies are needed to further assess and optimize the formulation for commercial viability.
