It also contained isoflavone derivatives like Genistein, which could prevent osteoporosis, and new isoflavonoid compounds with antibacterial potential. While the plant's extracts were noted to significantly nourish hair, the review concluded that compounds effective as anti-alopecia had not yet been identified, indicating a need for further research in this area.
