The study introduced a simple and effective extraction technique for treating and diagnosing eruptive vellus hair cysts, a condition with no standard treatment. Two patients with over 150 cysts were treated using cautery and forceps under topical anesthesia. The technique involved puncturing the skin and extracting the cysts, which was quick, well-tolerated, and showed no recurrence after 4 months. Histopathological examination confirmed the presence of cyst walls, and potassium hydroxide preparations allowed for rapid diagnosis. The technique was considered curative and also served as a diagnostic tool.
