Loose Anchoring of Anagen Hairs and Pili Torti Due to Erlotinib

    Erlotinib, a drug used for treating solid tumors, was reported to cause cutaneous side effects, including changes in hair texture and alopecia. This case report detailed two patients who experienced loose anagen hairs and pili torti, resulting in nonscarring marginal and diffuse alopecia. The report discussed potential mechanisms for these erlotinib-induced hair changes.
