TLDR The device effectively and safely increased hair growth in people with Androgenetic Alopecia.
The study evaluated the efficacy of the Pilogics Hairegen device, which combined mechanical, electrical, and biochemical stimulations, on hair growth in 289 patients with Androgenetic Alopecia (AGA) over an average of 20 weeks. Results showed a 23.2% increase in total hair count and a 21.1% increase in terminal hair count, with higher efficacy observed in older patients. No adverse effects were reported, indicating the device was both effective and safe for home use in treating AGA. The study highlighted the potential of the device to improve hair density in both men and women, although non-compliance to the treatment schedule was noted as a limitation.
