The study aimed to evaluate the anti-inflammatory and anti-fungal properties of these ingredients through clinical and microbiological tests. Participants in the clinical trials were male and female respondents aged 20-40 years who had experienced dandruff for at least one month. The results of the study concluded that the combination of coconut oil and turmeric was nearly as effective as 2% ketoconazole shampoo in reducing itching, hair loss, and scales caused by the fungus Pitysporum ovale, which is responsible for dandruff.
