Effective Management of PCOS (Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome) Through Ayurvedic Panchakarma Therapy Virechan: A Case Study

    In the 2020 case study, a 24-year-old female with PCOS underwent Ayurvedic Panchakarma therapy, specifically Virechan, and experienced significant improvements. Her treatment included preparatory procedures and a post-treatment diet. Results showed a reduction in ovarian volume, fewer non-dominant follicles, normalized TSH and lipid levels, symptomatic relief, and a weight loss of 6 kg. The study concluded that Virechan, combined with lifestyle changes, can effectively manage PCOS by targeting the root cause.
