The study "Evaluation The Effect of Injecting Platelets Rich Plasma in Modulating Post Burn Scars" conducted a prospective study on 48 patients divided into 3 groups of 16 each, to assess the efficacy of platelet-rich plasma (PRP) injections in treating post-burn scars at different stages. The results showed that hyperpigmented scars, depressed scars, and elevated scars all showed improvement with PRP treatment, with no statistically significant differences between the groups. The study concluded that intralesional injection of PRP is a safe, effective, and cost-effective treatment for post-burn scars, with better effects observed when treatment is initiated shortly after the burn occurs.
