TLDR Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT) treatment improved seed germination and growth, suggesting mood affects seed viability.
This study explored the effects of Clinical Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT) on depression using a seed bioassay. A 42-year-old woman with moderate depression underwent a 2-hour EFT session, which significantly reduced her BDI score. Seeds exposed to her biofield post-EFT showed higher germination rates and more robust root hair growth compared to pre-EFT and control seeds. The post-EFT group had a 95% germination rate, significantly higher than the 75% pre-EFT rate (p = .042). These findings suggest EFT may positively influence biofield energy and biological processes, though the study's small sample size and single-client focus necessitate further research.
