    The study examined the impact of adrenalectomy on hair growth and melanin deposition in black rats on diets either adequate or deficient in vitamin B¹ filtrate factors. Adrenalectomy significantly increased hair growth and melanin deposition in both diet groups, reversing graying and promoting glossy, pigmented fur. The skin of adrenalectomized rats turned bluish, and hair follicles showed hyperplasia and increased melanin production. However, rats on deficient diets had shorter survival times post-operation, though supplementation improved survival. The findings suggest adrenalectomy can stimulate hair growth and melanin deposition, even under vitamin B¹ deficiency.
