Covas-Lift: Facial Enhancement

    Jose L. Covarrubias
TLDR The Covas-Lift is a safe and effective facial rejuvenation method with shorter surgery time and high patient satisfaction.
From March 2010 to October 2016, a study analyzed 647 cases of a new surgical facial enhancement technique called Covas-Lift. Out of these, 157 cases involved only thread lifts (37 men and 120 women), while the remaining 490 cases underwent the complete technique. The Covas-Lift was found to halve the duration of surgery compared to traditional Rhytidectomy (facelift). Complications were minimal, with only one patient experiencing a temporary nerve branch issue and another with post-peeling hyperchromia, both of which were resolved. The study concluded that Covas-Lift is a viable option for facial rejuvenation, offering benefits such as reduced risk of nerve damage, hematoma, large scars, alopecia, and long recovery times, with patients reporting high satisfaction with the results.
